St Vincent’s Hospice is looking to recruit a motivated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Doctor to provide out of hours medical cover for our In-Patient Unit in Howwood.
About this role:
- This role provides ‘first-on-call’ medical cover alongside support from a Consultant in Palliative Care.
- Out of hours cover for the In-patient Unit
- Weekday on-call: Monday-Thursday, 5.00pm-8.00am
- The post forms part of an approximately 1 in 7 out-of-hours rota
- Consultant support available at all times
- Non-resident on-call arrangement
On-call requirement & payment
- An on-call allowance of £400 per month will be payable for undertaking on-call responsibilities as part of the rota
- Current GMC registration with licence to practise
- Medical indemnity cover appropriate for the advertised post
