We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join St Vincent’s Hospice – a hospice often described as "the little hospice with the big heart". At St Vincent’s Hospice, you will play a key role in providing holistic, person‑centred care to patients and those important to them, supporting them through some of life’s most significant moments.
About this role
As an ANP, you will work as an autonomous practitioner, using advanced clinical judgement to manage a complex caseload and deliver high‑quality care.
Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive holistic assessments and clinical decision‑making
- Support patients and families through sensitive and complex conversations
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to service development, education, and quality improvement
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards it)
- Independent Non‑Medical Prescriber (V300)
- Significant experience in palliative or end‑of‑life care
- Strong clinical judgement and decision‑making skills
- Capable of working autonomously and managing complex cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
