We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, creative and driven Head of School of Personalised Learning to join our team at St Vincent College (part of the Lighthouse Learning Trust). This is a key role for the College leading our highly successful special education provision, the School of Personalised Learning. We provide high quality education from pre-Entry to Level 2 to approximately 150 learners with SEND needs including PMLD.

Applicants therefore need to demonstrate specialist expertise in designing and managing inclusive education and considerable experience delivering equitable learning opportunities that enable successful progression and destinations for SEND learners. The successful candidate will be confident in leading and line-managing a multifaceted team of SEND teachers, Learning Support Assistants and specialist personal tutors.

You must be able to demonstrate the ability to optimise additional learning support, external agencies and specialist facilities to provide personalised learning programmes that enable all students to thrive, successfully transitioning onto sixth form study or to positive destinations beyond education.

We welcome applications from passionate, innovative professionals with post-16 experience, a teaching qualification (to degree level) and preferably a Level 7 qualifications in SEND. The successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
