The Governors of St Thomas More Catholic High School are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to enhance the development of pupils. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to be able to contribute further to an already successful team. Previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous but not essential.
In addition to the core responsibilities of the role, there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to deliver one hour per week of GCSE Polish teaching after school. Therefore, the ability to speak Polish and support students working towards a GCSE qualification in Polish would be highly desirable.
