St Thomas C of E Primary Academy is seeking a Temporary Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027. Please note that the contract may end earlier if the substantive postholder returns, in which case one month’s notice will be given.

We are looking for an inspirational teacher who will be committed, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of how children learn. Regardless of their starting point and background, we aim to enthuse, inspire and challenge all our pupils with a stimulating and relevant curriculum. We have high expectations of all our pupils and aim for the very highest standards in all areas of learning. We care deeply for every pupil and place a strong emphasis on pastoral care and support for children and families in our community.
