The role ensures that young people are welcomed, discipled and supported as they grow in faith and connection to the church community. The Youth Pastor will be responsible for developing a culture of belonging, spiritual growth and mission among the youth, equipping young people and volunteers for effective ministry.
A core part of this vision is our ministry and mission with young people. Having held high value on children and young people’s work for decades, we are currently placed 13th nationally in the Church of England’s figures for weekly attendance of 0s-18s. We sense God is doing new things here as part of a vision to see all ages come to vibrant faith and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
