The thriving team of Science, part of a busy department offering health, care, science and sport, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic part-time Science lecturer to teach primarily on our Level 3 Forensic and Biomedical programmes, with the opportunity to teach related subjects throughout the department. The successful candidate will be joining the team at a time when involvement in the support and design of the new curricula for 16-18 and adult learning programmes will play a part in the role. The working week for this role is 18.5 hours.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience in teaching and assessing Level 3 BTEC Science, with specific experience in teaching and assessing forensic and/or biomedical science related modules. Experience of working in a relevant industry, teaching A level or T level, as well as curriculum design and delivery, would be advantageous. You should also have a science degree and a Level 5 teaching qualification. You should have an excellent record of teaching and learning practice and demonstrate the ability to prepare, plan, and deliver high-quality lessons in an engaging and exciting way to support learners.
