Brightlingsea Primary School & Nursery are looking for a motivated, experienced, enthusiastic and caring Assistant Caretaker to support the Site Manager. The successful candidate will possess the ability to develop positive relationships with all members of the school community and have an aptitude for practical work.

Duties:

  • Reactive and preventative repairs and maintenance
  • Health and safety checks and monitoring
  • Locking and unlocking premises
  • Grounds upkeep
  • General security
  • Assisting with the supervision of premises and cleaning staff
  • Liaising with contractors as well as staff, pupils and parents
