Lift Plumberow is looking for a PE Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sport, physical activity and supporting children's development. About the role

As a PE Learning Support Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils' physical development, wellbeing and engagement across the school. You will:

  • Support the delivery of PE lessons, sports activities and enrichment opportunities
  • Encourage pupils' participation, confidence and teamwork through positive sporting experiences
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour and inclusion
  • Support pupils with SEND or additional needs to access physical activities successfully
  • Help organise and support sporting events, clubs, tournaments and competitions
  • Promote positive relationships and consistently apply the school's behaviour policy
  • Support pupils' social, emotional and physical wellbeing
  • Assist with the safe use and organisation of PE and sports equipment
