About the Team
The Sport team delivers courses that combine theory and practical units, providing students with a detailed understanding of the Sport and Fitness Service industries. Key areas include sports psychology, sports nutrition, sports coaching, ethics and lifestyle. Our courses help students develop essential life skills that strengthen applications for a variety of roles and careers.
About the Role
As a flexible, creative and proactive professional you will use a range of effective teaching and learning initiatives that engage, motivate and enable all learners to progress significantly from their starting points. You will also address individual learning needs, overcome learning barriers and encourage autonomous learning.
What We Are Looking For
- The successful candidate will ideally have a degree or other relevant qualification and/or significant industrial experience.
- You do not need a teaching qualification; a passion for the specialism, strong communication skills and a willingness to train on the job are essential.
- Ideally you should have:
- Full driving licence
- First Aid qualification
- Flexible working attitude
- Willingness to support educational visits & enrichment activities
