Are you a hands-on, reliable, and proactive individual who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? We\’re looking for a dedicated School Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the school premises
- General maintenance and minor repairs
- Ensuring the school grounds are clean and tidy
- Health & safety checks and record keeping
- Liaising with contractors and service providers
- Supporting with school events and emergency call-outs
We\’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has good DIY and maintenance skills
- Is trustworthy, punctual, and self-motivated
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Has a flexible approach to working hours
- Takes pride in their work and the school environment
Experience & Requirements:
- Previous caretaking or facilities experience is desirable
- Basic knowledge of health & safety regulations
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
