Boreham Primary School is a one form entry village school with approximately 211 pupils on roll, we pride ourselves on being a 'Friendship School'. We are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 3:30pm, who will assist the School Business Manager with finance and administrative tasks, including and not limited to:

  • Placing orders, preparing cheques, collecting, recording and issuing receipts for other monies as required.
  • Prepare monies and make appropriate arrangements for banking, role shared with other finance assistant.
  • Liaison with external clubs ensuring the school club timetable is up-to-date.
  • Ensure school security arrangements are always complied with.
  • To take responsible steps to support children when unwell, as a named First Aider.
  • To provide general clerical support as required.

The school office is a busy yet fun place to work so you will need a good sense of humour and the ability to prioritise your workload and help other members of the team at busy times. You will work closely with the School Business Manager and other members of the Senior Leadership Team.
