Moulsham High School is seeking a Classroom Supervisor (Cover Supervisor) to oversee secondary‑aged students during short‑term teacher absences. The role includes delivering lesson instructions as provided, maintaining classroom order, keeping students on task and ensuring their learning continues. The successful candidate must remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
Work Schedule:
- 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 15:30, 39 weeks a year (term time plus inset days).
- Permanent contract.
Requirements:
- Experience supervising secondary classes and delivering lessons.
- Ability to maintain order and calm classroom environment.
- Enhanced DBS check is required, and the role is not suitable for individuals barred from working with children.
