We are looking to appoint a hardworking and highly motivated Apprentice ICT Technician to join our ICT Team.
Salary Range: Hourly Rate, Age 18-20 £10.85. Age 21 or over £12.71
Contract: 1 Year Fixed Contract
Working weeks: 52 weeks
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (08:00-16:00 Mon-Thurs and 08:00 - 15:30 Fri).
You will be required to work at both the Basildon Lower Academy and Basildon Upper Academy.
In the role, you will learn ICT maintenance, including maintaining both the school network and laptop computers, ensuring it is fully available to all staff and students.
The successful candidate must have a keen interest in ICT, and be educated to GCSE level, with 4 GCSE's at Grades 4/C or above in English and Mathematics desirable. The successful candidate will be required to complete ICT Apprenticeship - Level 3.
Key tasks include:
- Support the ICT department to ensure all computers/laptops are set and allocated appropriately
- Support the ICT department to ensure that all appropriate software is correctly set up on the systems and individual devices
- Support the ICT department to ensure that all IT equipment is operational
- Support the ICT department to ensure printers are operational and have sufficient consumables
- Support the ICT department to assist staff and students with any ICT issues
