We are seeking a highly organised, professional and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our school team.
Job Overview
As the first point of contact for many visitors, parents and pupils, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the school office.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy environment and making a positive contribution to the school community.
- Key Requirements
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
- A friendly, professional and approachable manner.
- Experience in an administrative role (school‑based experience is desirable but not essential).
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

- Recruitment Process
- All posts are subject to DBS, Medical clearance, Verification of qualifications and National Insurance number, Two references including a judgement about suitability to work with children.
- A member of the interview panel will be trained in implementing Child Protection procedures.
- In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, online search will be carried out.
- For teaching positions, barred list checks and prohibition from teaching checks will be carried out.
- For leadership positions, section 128 checks will be performed.
