St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School & Nursery are seeking to appoint Caring, engaging and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team. Our school is highly regarded in the local community and we pride ourselves in the family atmosphere created by the pupils, staff, parents, parishioners and governors.

As a member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning within the classroom, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where all pupils can thrive. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to making a difference in children’s education.

Working under the guidance of the class teacher and the leadership team, you will assist with the delivery of lessons, provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, and help manage classroom behaviour and routines. You may also support pupils with additional needs, adapting resources and approaches to ensure every child can access the curriculum.

Your responsibilities will include preparing learning materials, supporting assessment and feedback, and contributing to the overall care and wellbeing of pupils. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents are essential.

This is a rewarding and varied role that offers the opportunity to develop your skills and experience while making a meaningful contribution to the school community. The successful candidate will have a high standard of spoken and written English. They will be patient, caring, creative and motivated and will be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
