Our Lady Immaculate is a popular school with a team of committed, supportive and friendly staff who strive to ensure that our children reach their full potential within a warm and caring school community.

We are looking for an after-school club receptionist to join our after-school club team to work 11.25 hours per week, 3:00 pm to 5:15 pm Monday to Friday – term time only.

The role includes

  • Providing an efficient and friendly reception service for the school, acting as the first point of contact for telephone and face-to-face enquiries and taking messages where appropriate.
  • Greeting visitors at the school and liaising with appropriate staff (mainly for the collection of children in the ARK).
  • Ensuring school security arrangements are always complied with.
  • Monitoring the CCTV before allowing people to access the building.
  • Acting on filing, photocopying and reprographic work as required.
  • Providing general clerical support as required.
  • Accessing information on the SIMS system for telephone numbers and contact details.

Please note staff whose children are on roll have free access to the Ark facilities for their children between 3:15 pm and 5:15 pm.

As such the post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, medical clearances, and satisfactory references.

Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Primary School became an Academy as of 1 May 2012 and joined the Rosary Trust on 1 September 2019.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people.
