The primary purpose of the Family Liaison Officer at Hylands School is to act as a dedicated advocate and mentor for vulnerable learners, including those eligible for the pupil premium grant, students with SEND, and those experiencing barriers to learning.
The post-holder will establish regular, meaningful contact with pupils and their families to build lasting, trusting relationships with our school community. By acting as a critical bridge between home and school, the Family Liaison Officer will proactively identify and dismantle barriers to school attendance, engagement, and academic achievement, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
