We are looking to appoint an experienced Administrative Assistant to work in our busy school office. To work 32.5 hours per week (5 days a week 8.30am to 3.30pm with a 30-minute lunch break). Term time plus non-pupil days and 2 weeks. Paid on Scale 3 (point 5-6) plus outer fringe (approximately £21,110 per annum).
Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience of BROMCOM being advantageous. They should possess excellent administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively on their own initiative. Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial. Experience in banking or financial administration, together with strong IT skills, would be highly desirable.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and operational duties, including:
- Reception
- Clerical and finance tasks
- General school administration
- Supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) administration
- IT coordination
- School policies
- Governor administration
- Premises management, including health and safety compliance
