ST TALENT are recruiting for a Customer Service & Sales Support Executive to join a growing and ambitious business within the construction sector. Working as part of the UK Team and reporting directly to the Sales Director, you'll play a key role in supporting customers, managing orders, coordinating deliveries and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the sales function. This is a varied role combining customer relationship management, sales support, order coordination and logistics administration within a fast-paced B2B environment. Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, you'll take ownership of enquiries, coordinate with internal teams and help deliver a seamless customer experience from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.

We're looking for someone with previous experience in a commercial B2B environment who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and keeping multiple moving parts organised. Strong systems skills are essential, and experience using Zoho CRM would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and online channels
  • Building strong relationships with customers and supporting them throughout the order journey
  • Preparing quotations, processing orders and maintaining accurate sales documentation
  • Supporting the sales team with customer enquiries, order management and administrative support
  • Coordinating deliveries and liaising with transport providers to ensure orders arrive on time
  • Providing delivery updates, ETAs and resolving logistics issues where required
  • Taking ownership of customer queries and driving issues through to resolution
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and activity within Zoho CRM
  • Supporting reporting, dashboards and commercial administration for the Sales Director and wider sales team
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer service, processes and operational efficiency

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within a B2B customer service, sales support, internal sales, account coordination, order management or commercial administration role. Experience within construction, building materials, manufacturing, engineering, wholesale, distribution or another product-led environment is highly desirable.

You'll also have:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A positive, proactive and professional approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy commercial environment
  • Confidence handling customer queries and challenging situations professionally
  • Strong systems and CRM experience, ideally including Zoho CRM
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • A customer-first mindset with a solutions-focused approach
