ST TALENT are delighted to be partnering with a leading e-learning organisation to recruit an Instructional Designer to join their growing Learning Design team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Instructional Designer to create engaging, accessible, and impactful digital learning experiences that support learners across a range of sectors. You'll work closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to transform complex information into high-quality e-learning content that drives meaningful learning outcomes.

As an Instructional Designer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing engaging online learning solutions, ensuring content is learner-centred, accessible, and aligned with instructional design best practices. You'll be joining a collaborative and innovative environment where learning quality and learner experience are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and storyboard engaging e-learning courses and digital learning modules.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies and learning theories to create effective learning experiences.
  • Develop clear learning objectives and outcomes aligned to learner and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather, analyse, and translate complex content into engaging learning materials.
  • Review, update, and enhance existing course content.
  • Ensure all learning materials meet quality, accessibility, editorial, and pedagogical standards.
  • Apply inclusive design principles and accessibility best practices throughout course development.
  • Work alongside graphic designers and multimedia specialists to create engaging digital experiences.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting agreed deadlines.
  • Contribute ideas and innovations around learning technologies and modern learning approaches.
About You
  • Previous experience designing e-learning content within a compliance, regulated, or professional learning environment.
  • A strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Experience working with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent content writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience using Articulate Rise and Storyline.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive learning design practices.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and learner-focused mindset.
