ST TALENT are working with an established engineering and manufacturing business based in the Burnley area to recruit a Sales Estimator to join its growing commercial team. This role would suit someone with experience in technical sales, internal sales, estimating, quotations, or engineering customer support within a manufacturing or engineering environment. The successful candidate will support customer enquiries, prepare quotations, review technical drawings, and work closely with engineering and production teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare customer quotations and cost estimates for engineering projects
  • Review technical drawings and customer specifications
  • Support internal sales activity and respond to customer enquiries
  • Liaise with production and engineering teams regarding pricing and lead times
  • Assist with sourcing materials and supplier pricing
  • Maintain quotation records and customer information
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and internal departments
  • Support continuous improvement across sales and estimating processes

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within technical sales, internal sales, estimating, or engineering support
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
