Your main responsibility will be to monitor the practice appointment system. You will interact and assist with patients face-to-face and over the telephone. Your aim will be to give the best patient experience from start to finish.

To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties will include:

  • Greeting and directing patients
  • Dealing with patient registration
  • Booking appointments
  • Processing of information

You will act as the central point of contact for patients and will distribute information, messages and enquiries to the clinical team.

Qualifications: GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths

Experience:

  • Experience of working in a GP practice
  • Experience using EMIS
  • Experience with recall
  • Experience with scanning and emails
  • 2 years in GP setting
