This is one position comprising of three roles. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake the duties and working hours of all three roles detailed below.
Breakfast Club Assistant - Salary: Grade 3, £1,493 per annum. £13.70 per hour
2.5 hours per week, term time, working 38 weeks per year
Teaching Assistant Level 2 Salary: Grade 3, £9,704 per annum. £13.70 per hour
16.25 hours per week, term time, working 38 weeks per year
Teaching Assistant Level 1 (Midday Assistant) Salary Grade 2 £3,674 per annum. £13.48 per hour
6.25 hours per week, term time, working 38 weeks per year

The Governors and Headteacher are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring member of staff who will be able to perform the following duties:
- Breakfast Club Assistant to provide care and supervision of children at all times, responding to their individual/special needs and ensuring safety and access to out of school hours learning/play/breakfast provision/activities and safeguarding their health and well-being.
- Teaching Assistant Level 2 to provide classroom support across all year groups.
- Teaching Assistant Level 1 (Midday Assistant) to cover at lunchtimes, within the busy school hall and playground. This will involve supervising pupils both in the dining hall and after their lunch, both inside and outside of the classroom.
The successful candidate must be able to liaise closely with Class Teachers and other members of staff. The ability to use your own initiative is essential and the ideal candidate will be able to promote our Christian values and ethos. The candidate must understand the confidential nature of their position.
The hours will be 27.5 hours as follows
- Breakfast Club Assistant 8:15am until 8:45am, Monday to Friday (2.5 hours)
- Teaching Assistant Level 2 - 8:45pm until 12:00pm, Monday to Friday (16.25 hours)
- Teaching Assistant Level 1 - 12:00pm until 1:15pm, Monday to Friday (6.25 hours)
The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Midday team and Class Teachers. Duties may also involve dealing with first aid issues.
