Astley St Stephen’s CE Primary School is looking for experienced, enthusiastic and innovative Early Years Practitioners to support our new Nursery class, After School Club, and lunchtime cover.
Hours of work:
- Midday Assistant: 5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
- Early Years Practitioner: 12.5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
- After School Club Assistant: 10 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
The successful candidates must liaise closely with Class Teachers and other staff, use initiative, promote our Christian values and ethos, and understand the confidential nature of the position. The hours for both posts will be 27.5 per week, working term time only plus one extra week for inset and training days.
The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Midday team and Class Teachers. Duties may also involve dealing with first aid issues.
