Our client has a great reputation in the industry and is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and flexible all-rounder to work as part of a busy hire desk team within a supportive company. Company – Independent Plant Hire Company Job Title – Hire Controller Location – Netherton, Dudley Salary – £28-32k / annum Hours – 7.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday Main Duties: * First point of contact for customer enquiries * Coordinating drivers to ensure equipment is delivered and collected from customers on time and efficiently. * Ensuring accuracy of all paperwork. * Liaising with the workshop to ensure that equipment is available. * Assisting with loading and unloading in depot when required. * Dealing with damages, calculating costs, liaising with customers regarding damages and ensuring payment is received * Full training on product range will be given. Requirements: * IT literate * Full driving licence (essential) * Excellent communication skills, verbal & written * Strong planning and organisational skills * Ability to work under pressure & to set deadlines * Customer focused * Energetic & enthusiastic * Hire industry experience (desirable)
