We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Telemarketer/ Lead Generator to join our client, a leading independent specialist software provider based in Birmingham. As a Growth Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of the business development strategy. Your mission is to generate, qualify, and convert high-quality leads into appointments for the sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building meaningful conversations and understands consultative selling. Excellent training and opportunities for progression are available.
This is a hybrid working position - 3 days from home and 2 days office based in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter.
The main parts of the role include:
- Lead generation & outreach - identifying and developing opportunities with potential clients via phone, email and LinkedIn.
- Qualifying inbound enquiries - responding promptly to online enquiries and qualifying them for the sales team.
- Appointment setting - booking high-quality demos and meetings for the sales team.
- CRM management - maintaining accurate records of leads, conversations, and activity in the CRM system.
- Collaboration - working closely with marketing to solve common objections and tailoring messaging.
- Market intelligence - staying informed about industry trends and potential new areas for growth.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years in a B2B sales or lead generation role (tech experience preferred, but not essential).
- Strong communicator who can convey value clearly and concisely.
- Familiar with LinkedIn outreach, email sequencing, and cold calling.
- Comfortable using CRM and sales engagement tools.
