We are recruiting an experienced Internal Sales Executive for our client, a leading European manufacturing company based in the Ellesmere Port area.

You will be responsible for handling & transitioning leads, generated by marketing and inbound calls, via sales or telesales colleagues into appointments, enquiries and ultimately revenue for the business.

This is a hybrid position working a split week between the site in Ellesmere Port and from home.

About the Job Internal Sales Executive Ellesmere Port (Hybrid Role) Up to £35K + bonus What You'll Get * £35K basic * Quarterly bonus scheme * 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays * Company pension scheme * Company laptop and phone * Hybrid working Role & Responsibilities * Ensure the follow up existing leads and stimulate new opportunities through effective calling techniques * Generate appointments with existing contacts within our database and discover new, extended contacts to target for visits * Support the Telesales team with contact to lost /lapsed customers in order to inform them about applications or solutions on offer to generate an opportunity to quote or arrange a sales visit, * Direct prospects/leads to the field sales team– as appropriate * Enter, update & maintain new customer information in our CRM system * Proactively manage leads derived from digital marketing activity with the relevant sales or telesales colleague * Support and drive the development of national & key accounts * Identify opportunity for growth within specific sectors by understanding of competitors

  • Work with Sales support team to ensure customers receive quotes and information in a timely manner.
  • Input into marketing campaigns and put prospecting plans in place to aim to get more business.
  • Ensure all activity are entered and managed within the CRM system weekly and update CRM with sales cycle status ensuring pipeline is recorded at the correct stages and is accurate.
  • Diary management for appointment setting with sales colleagues.

  • A natural but influential telephone manner and strong mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, an early engager with key contacts.
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM methods and systems.
  • Experience in dealing with all levels of target organisation management and selling to key decision makers.
