We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to join our growing team of a very well-established hire company that supplies a wide range of tools and access equipment to the M&E sector. This role is focused on maximising revenue and profitability by identifying, developing, and managing key accounts, projects, and prospects, developing relationships with Tier 1 mechanical contractors, principal contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a strong track record in the M&E or construction sector who thrives on winning new business and building long-term customer partnerships.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow business opportunities, particularly T1 mechanical contractors
- Build relationships with principal contractors and regional/national subcontractors
- Identify and target major regional projects and opportunities
- Collaborate with regional sales teams and build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across customers and projects
- Develop strong technical and commercial knowledge of products and relevant legislation
- Deliver product demonstrations and present innovative and compliant solutions
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2 years field sales experience within M&E, construction, or related sectors
- Demonstrated success in winning and delivering new business revenue growth
- Strong evidence of developing major accounts from prospecting and negotiation to delivery
- Experience developing relationships at project and contractor level
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to overcome objections and drive opportunities forward
