Apprentice Teaching Assistant in Salford

The Governorsof St Sebastian’s RC Primary School are seeking to recruit a dedicated and talentedteaching assistant to join our welcoming school.

We are looking for candidates that will:

• Aim to develop their skills under the guidance ofschool staff;
• Be committed to undertaking an apprenticeshipframework in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools at level 2 (18 monthstudy period);
• Be committed to undertaking functional skills in mathsand English at Level 2 (if exemptions don’t apply)
• Be able to listen to advice given and follow cleardirectives;
• Have a positive approach to working with children;
• Commit to developing independent learners and encourageour children to achieve their potential;
• Be flexible in working across all key stages;
• Be able to work efficiently and independently;
• Promote a nurturing environment that stimulatespositive behaviour and well-being;
• Commit to working in partnership with all thoseinvolved in the life of the school;
