Key Strategic Responsibilities

To ensure that all members on each lottery collection round have paid their subscriptions and are included in as many weekly draws as possible.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Collect from Lottery members on Cash Collection rounds adhering to a regular timetable.
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for other Lottery Collectors.
  • Visit existing players to promote alternative payment methods and special promotions.

Staff Management

  • Work with other collectors to cover their rounds as required.
  • Deliver and collect round sheets from other collectors as required.

Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all payments received.
  • Complete all paperwork related to cash collection rounds.
  • Ensure that all cash collected is paid in to the Hospice in a timely manner.

Communication and Working Relationships

  • To report back on a regular basis to the Fundraising Team with any issues or queries.
  • To attend Hospice meetings where appropriate.
