Are you working as an IFA Administrator or Paraplanner and would you like a bit more autonomy?
A natural progression path from IFA Support is through to Paraplanning; some people develop their experience in this field and some move to become a Financial Planner.
Each role has it’s defined remit and moving between them may mean you miss doing some aspects of the other.
Where this role is based means it’s perfect commuting distance in and around Chester.
The best of both (or all) worlds is this; a Client Manager position which is available and may appeal to those who enjoy the variety of Adviser support, aspects of Paraplanning and the client interaction of Financial Planning.
In this Client Manager role you be allocated a portfolio of clients and become their main point of contact for all non advice matters.
You’ll be using all your knowledge gained but rather than spending much of your time processing new business or producing suitability reports you’ll be managing client relationships and coordinating the process from start to finish.
If you enjoy the interaction with clients then this role is perfect for you.
You can develop in this role alongside gaining qualifications with the CII and in time become a Financial Planner.
