We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Transport Manager to join our dedicated team for a fixed-term of 6 months. If you are passionate about people, logistics, and supporting a great cause, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day retail transport operation.
- Coordinate collections and deliveries across our retail network.
- Lead and support a team of volunteer drivers, loaders and co-pilots.
- Ensure vehicles are safe, maintained and compliant.
- Deliver excellent customer service to donors, customers and volunteers.
- Maximise income and Gift Aid opportunities through effective transport and collection activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
- At least two years' driving experience.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Experience of leading, motivating or supporting volunteers or colleagues.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
- The ability to undertake manual handling duties and work as part of a team.
- A passion for delivering great customer service and supporting a charitable cause.
