Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to grow your skills and be part of a dynamic team? We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our fundraising team to support the overall running of the Events and Community Team.

Role Requirements/Attributes:

  • Empathy with the work of St Raphael’s Hospice
  • Proven ability to work on extracting data from various platforms for reports and in completing stewardship journeys.
  • Ability to work with and organise volunteers
  • Good personal organisation
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with donors
  • High level of enthusiasm and commitment
  • Knowledge of Code of Fundraising Practice and GDPR
  • Good influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Willing to talk about or present the work of the hospice to large groups and individuals
  • Good team player
  • Ability to work within budgets
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Willingness to work outside of normal office hours such as evening and weekends
  • Ability and willingness to travel independently across the Hospice’s catchment area, including transporting light event materials where required. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be desirable.
