The Governors of St Raphael’s are seeking to appoint a permanent Midday Assistant from October 2026 or sooner to work for 5 hours per week (term time only Monday to Friday - 12.00-1.00pm)
The successful candidate will join our hard-working team in supervising and creating play opportunities for our happy, friendly children. We welcome applications from organised, enthusiastic and adaptable team-players who enjoy working with children. Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage but is not necessary.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with children
- Is able to relate well to children and adults
- Is able to help children to enjoy their lunchtime through supporting activities and games
- Is able to work constructively as part of a team
- Is committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of our school
- Has awareness of safety within the school environment
