About This Role

Saint Benedict is a vibrant, progressive and oversubscribed school. We believe high quality teaching coupled with excellent pastoral support are key to enabling our pupils to make exceptional progress. If you are an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher who is committed to getting the best outcomes for pupils, we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will be able to build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and adapt their teaching to meet the needs of all pupils. This is a permanent full-time position starting from September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Teach classes, including planning, recording, assessing and meeting the social and learning needs of individual pupils.
  • Maintain the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school.
  • Fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meet the expectations set out in the Teachers Standards.

Requirements

The post is subject to satisfactory references, a DBS check, a medical check, evidence of qualifications and verification of the right to work in the UK. Please note that the closing date may be brought forward depending on interest.
