What are we looking for?
- If you are an enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistant who is committed to getting the best outcomes for pupils then we want to hear from you.
- This position is for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in our existing dedicated and successful support team.
- You will work with a named student, supporting them with a range of needs.
- Work for 32.5 hours per week during the Term time.
- Work closely with the student, building positive working relationships in order to help them, wherever possible, engage fully in school life.
- Have experience of working with young people, especially in improving behaviour for learning.
- Be caring and supportive and have a good understanding of the issues that young people encounter.
- Have excellent communication skills.
Please note that this is a fixed‑term contract and is directly linked to funding received by the school. It is anticipated that it will be available for 1 year initially, and the end date is subject to change. Please note that the closing date may be brought forward depending on interest.
