The predicted salary is between 30000 - 39000 Β£ per year.
As our lead cover supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that students have a high-quality learning experience when their usual teacher is away from school.
You will manage the cover requirements to ensure that students learning is uninterrupted by staff absence, you will also manage classroom behaviour to ensure pupils stay on task and facilitate the activities that have been designed by teaching staff to ensure that students complete the work in an effective learning environment.

This role offers you the chance to step in and lead lessons in the absence of the regular teacher for KS3 and KS4 students, and is a great opportunity for those looking to enter a teaching career.

This is a permanent, part-time, role, working for 37 hours per week, term time only.

Responsibilities
- Manage staff cover for the school, deploying teachers and TAs as necessary to provide stability and continuity for students whose lessons are affected through short-term teaching staff absence.
- Provide a high-quality, customer-focused management and administrative service within the main school office.
- Supervise the students in KS3 and KS4 working on pre-set learning activities in the absence of a teacher.
- Be caring, supportive and committed to achieving excellent results.
