The children are part of a close community that encourages and supports one another and takes pride in their school, behaviour, work ethic and kindness.

About This Role

The school works closely with St Margaret’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, sharing a headteacher, governing body and a minibus that enables joint sporting events and will soon provide “wrap around care” for both schools. The objective is to uncover each child’s talents, interests and God‑given gifts and build a curriculum that is rich and engaging.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Teaching a class, including planning, recording, assessing and meeting the social and learning needs of pupils
  • Maintaining the positive Catholic ethos and core values of the school
  • Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers’ Standards

What Are We Looking For?

We seek an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher who is committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils. The successful candidate will build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and adapt their teaching to meet the needs of all pupils. The role requires satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, a medical check, evidence of qualifications and verification of the right to work in the UK.
