About This Role
Exam Invigilator (10 positions)
Grade/SCP: Band 2, SCP 3 - 5
Salary: £12.89 – £13.30 per hour
Hours: Casual
The core purpose of the role of Exam Invigilator is to support the Examinations Officer or Senior Invigilator where one is appointed in supervising candidates undertaking external examinations in school.
Responsibilities
- To work in a team of invigilators supervising pupils undertaking school and external examinations in accordance with the legal and school requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience of working with young people
- Experience of working in an educational establishment
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with adults and students
- Ability to work to predetermined instructions
- Ability to relate to and work with young people
- Ability to keep calm under pressure or during unexpected circumstances
