About This Role
Hours - 37 Hrs/week over 39 weeks/year
Basis - Full Time, Permanent
Salary - Band 4 SCP (11 - 17) £28,142 - £31,022
Actual Salary - £24,272.48 - £26,756.48
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a comprehensive, impartial careers programme for Years 7–11, supporting informed progression and reducing NEET risk.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with employers, colleges, training providers, and HE institutions.
- Provide personalised careers guidance through 1:1 interviews, assemblies, events, and parental engagement.
- Manage, develop, and evaluate the school library as a high-quality learning resource that promotes literacy and inclusion.
- Oversee systems, data, budgets, and reporting to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with statutory and OFSTED guidance.
