We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented People Business Partner, reporting directly into the People Director. Involved in all aspects including talent acquisition, employee development, employee relations, and compliance. This is a generalist role therefore the individual must be comfortable with getting involved in all aspects of HR. There will be limited admin support so the individual must be comfortable doing their own admin. This is a Fixed Term Contract covering a period of maternity leave (approx. 12 months starting July 2026, ending June 2027). 1st stage interviews w.c. 4/5/2026, 2nd stage w.c. 18/5/2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the implementation of people strategies and initiatives that support the company's overall objectives.
- Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment.
- Develop diversity and inclusion strategies to ensure a diverse and equitable workforce.
- Promote wellbeing strategies.
- Oversee People policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with managers to develop and align People strategies with business goals.
- Provide support for organisational change and development efforts.
- Monitor and report on People key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Use evidence and data to identify people priorities for the business and address future workforce needs.
- Provide guidance on people practices such as restructures and succession planning.
- Bring people expertise and develop solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy.
- Influence and build relationships with people around the business.
- Act as a local point of people expertise for our teams.
- Question and challenge others to get to the root of people and business issues.
- Coach and provide feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
- Lead and manage recruitment activity, including direct sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Complete monthly payroll submissions and submissions to Grupo Bimbo.
- Process purchase orders (POs) through M3.

- Calm under pressure with an ability to work in a dynamic environment, dealing with conflicting priorities.
- Highly organised with excellent planning skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail with an ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
- A flexible, pro-active, and collaborative approach to problem solving and team working, with an ability to gain acceptance from challenging stakeholders.

- Able to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and to determine underlying issues in challenging situations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- CIPD or other relevant HR certification is desirable.
