The Shopper Marketing Manager will champion our fantastic brands, working as part of the UK Brand team to develop, deploy and evaluate annual brand plans. You will play a key part in supporting brand and marketing initiatives across multiple touchpoints and channels. This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 12 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a champion of our fantastic St Pierre and Baker Street brands - working in the UK Brand Team to develop, deploy and evaluate the annual brand plans.
- Develop the creation and execution of annual shopper marketing plans that deliver best-in-class activations for our wholesale and convenience customers.
- Build strong relationships with our customers and shopper media contacts, continuing to challenge the norm for the bakery category.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing and commercial teams to execute marketing initiatives with excellence that will drive results and increase our brand penetration. Evaluate all activities to help with future learnings.
- Lead cross-functional internal and external teams to plan and execute consumer and retailer events.
- Support the planning and execution of new product development (NPD) initiatives and product launches.
- Manage UK packaging adaptations and oversee related packaging coordination activities.
- Work closely with our Senior Social Media Manager on the development and planning of social media content for both St Pierre and Baker Street.
- Assist in the creation, production, and distribution of branded merchandise and sample boxes.
- Budget management - be a sharp operator with a founder's mentality to manage brand budgets efficiently, not accepting waste and unnecessary spending.
- Embrace the consumer, collaborating with our category and insights team to uncover and analyse consumer insights to drive brand growth.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG
- Highly experienced in brand planning development and execution
- Results driven with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strategic approach to problem solving
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Collaborative and data-driven
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office, Teams, Shared Files on SharePoint.
