Overview
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day coordination of inbound and outbound logistics activity, ensuring delivery bookings, transport amendments, loading plans and customer requirements are managed accurately and efficiently.
The role works closely with hauliers, customers, bakeries, warehouses and internal teams to maintain clear communication cross different functions, investigate and resolve delays and keep transport plans up to date across internal systems and shared documents.
The role also includes preparing customs and delivery paperwork and contributing to procurement scorecards, haulier claims and wider logistics performance follow-up where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound delivery bookings and next-day delivery confirmations with external partners including 3PL warehouses and direct delivery customers
- Manage export inbox activity, including delivery delay investigations, new bookings, amendments to collection and delivery details, cancellations and transport rerouting
- Coordinate with hauliers, customers, bakeries, warehouses and internal systems to keep transport plans accurate
- Generating customs paperwork using in-house platform
- Maintain and update internal and externally shared documents with accurate information
- Prepare or issue required paperwork for customers
- Support procurement scorecards and raise bakery or haulier claims when required
