We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Design Technology (DT) to work as a middle leader, as a subject leader of Food Preparation and Nutrition. The ideal candidate with have the vision, and gravitas to work with young people and contribute to general school life. This is an opportunity to excel in this challenging and rewarding role. The successful candidate will: Be able to teach Design Technology across the 11-18 age range, Have specialisms in Food Preparation and Nutrition with an ability to also teach a second DT subject. Be an effective self-manager who can prioritise, is flexible and able to work under pressure. Be passionate about Design Technology and committed to improving teaching and learning. Have good interpersonal and presentational skills. Be a strong communicator with the ability to influence and motivate others.
