We are looking for a full-time (37.5 hours) experienced receptionist to join our patient-orientated and friendly teams. We are offering a competitive salary of £13.85 per hour. We aim to deliver high-quality care to our patients, and you will be central to this as the front of house staff, often being the first point of contact.

Main duties of the job:

  • Manage patient enquiries in person and by phone.
  • Book and update appointments accurately.
  • Register new patients and maintain records.
  • Support clinicians and admin staff with daily tasks.
  • Keep reception areas clean, safe and welcoming.

Monday to Friday (Fridays at Holborn Medical Centre). This list is not exhaustive.

2 GP Partners, 17 salaried GPs, 2 Nurses, 2 Clinical Pharmacists and 1 Link Worker. Our combined list size is approximately 22,000 patients. High QOF scores. CQC ratings for both sites are GOOD. Modern premises. Good transport links. Both of our practices are training practices for GP registrars and medical students.

Person Specification:

Experience:

  • 2 years' GP receptionist experience.
  • Confident using IT systems and medical software.
  • Calm, caring and organised with great communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths.
