The Site Supervisor will work closely with the Academy Business Leader, Office Manager and wider staff team, with a thorough induction provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role. This will include familiarisation with the site, health and safety procedures, and key responsibilities.
A start date of Monday 24th August 2026 will allow for a comprehensive induction in the week prior to the return of pupils and staff. However, some flexibility may be available for the right applicant as this process will continue into the Autumn Term to support ongoing development and confidence in the role.
You will become part of a dedicated and supportive team of administrative, pastoral, and teaching staff who work collaboratively to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-functioning school environment for all. The role is key to ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the academy premises.
Our ideal candidate will possess the skills, experience, and knowledge required to maintain high standards across the school site. This includes taking responsibility for site security, general maintenance, and health and safety compliance. We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual who takes pride in their work and is keen to contribute to all aspects of school life within a close-knit and supportive community.

- The successful candidate will be competent in updating our online compliance system with site evidence and maintenance records.
- Be willing to undertake any necessary training, including our user-friendly online systems.
- Hold a full driving licence (preferably also D1 category but this is not essential).
- Would ideally be willing to contribute to driving a school minibus for local trips, on occasion.
- Work flexibly with colleagues to agree working patterns during the school holidays, dependent on holiday projects.
- Be prepared to support lettings with out of hours working on occasion (this is not currently a requirement for this role but may increase slightly in future years).
