As a part of the housekeeping team, you are a valued and respected part of the team. We are looking for an individual who has high attention to detail, high standards and pride in their work. You are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home for our residents, cleaning and caring for our residents' rooms and ensuring they are homely and tidy. You are responsible for communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dining area and seating areas.

Our Care Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Domestic Housekeeping Assistant to assist in the day-to-day running of a busy and vibrant care establishment. You will be reporting to the Care Home Manager.

Candidate Should Have:

  • A flexible approach to work
  • High standards and good work ethic
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Be able to use resources economically and effectively
  • Be aware of correct cleaning solutions and equipment for the correct job
  • Be aware of the responsibility to report any accidents, untoward incidents, hazards and unsafe equipment
  • An awareness of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace.

It would be desirable to have:

  • Previous experience of care work in a Hospital or Care Home.
  • An interest in Care of the Elderly
