As a part of the housekeeping team, you are a valued and respected part of the team. We are looking for an individual who has high attention to detail, high standards and pride in their work. As a Domestic and Laundry Assistant, you will be reporting to the Care Home Manager.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home for our residents, cleaning and caring for our residents’ rooms and ensuring they are homely and tidy.
- You are responsible for communal areas, showers, bathrooms, dining area and seating areas.
Qualifications Candidates Should Have:
- A flexible approach to work
- High standards and good work ethic
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Be able to use resources economically and effectively
- Be aware of correct cleaning solutions and equipment for correct job
- Be aware of the responsibility to report any accidents, untoward incidents, hazards and unsafe equipment
- An awareness of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace.
Desirable
- Previous experience of care work in a Hospital or Care Home.
- An interest for Care of the Elderly
