Teaching Assistant – 20 hours per week, term time only. St Peter's is a very successful and oversubscribed School. We are a caring community with resolute focus on delivering outstanding teaching and learning. The School seeks to appoint outstanding Teaching Assistant – Secondary - wanting to join a supportive and committed team. St Peter's is an 'all through school' that was designated GOOD by Ofsted in September 2023. It is delightfully situated on the Dorset Coast with ready access to the New Forest, both areas rich with opportunities for outdoor pursuits.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process. An online check will be conducted for candidates shortlisted to check their suitability to work with children (KCSIE 2025). Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility at St Peter’s School regardless of role or position.
